Just got off the phone with Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show - if you don't know him by name he's the singer in their video Wagon Wheel. I'm still nervous as hell. Whew. I'm like drained right now. But, did like a half-hour interview, and it's spurned me on to get the next issue out by November 19th, next Thursday, if I have to kill myself to do it. They are playing at Lovett Auditorium on Saturday, Nov 21st and bygod I want that issue signed by them. So if you haven't gotten tickets yet, get 'em! It's one of the best live shows you'll ever see. Man, I'll write more later when I've replenished my brain. Of course, I've got Shana McCoy's makeover to work on, and the photoshoot tomorrow, and hell all weekend just writing. If anyone wants to do a little research let me know, I could use all the help I can get.

A few years ago (I’m guessing around 2007 or 2008), I started hearing that Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly and director of the upcoming Avengers movie)  was working on a horror flick called The Cabin In the Woods. After that, I’d periodically see promo...
